    Good tips. Although I feel bad to wash my sheets and duvet covers that often as I live in South Africa – with the drought there are many towns that don’t even have drinking water (any tap water) at this stage.

      Karelien, I don’t blame you!! If I were you, I would just shake them outside once a week, perhaps hang them out afterwards to freshen them up, or place in the dryer once a week to remove dust…

        Shaking and hanging outside is how it was done before commercial washer and dryers…

    People clean their blinds less often than their curtains. And curtains are easier to wash. Other than that Great ideas.

    I feel so much better, knowing I am not the only one with dust problems. It also explains why some rooms may have no dust and others, I cannot keep clean unless I dust every day!

    I can dust everyday and still can’t get a head of the dust. I live in illinois by a still mill.
