Exposed Beams
Dying for a more barn house look in your own home? While it would be hard (and costly) to redo the exterior of your house, it’s relatively simple to add barn elements inside the home. One of my favorite elements in modern barn homes are exposed beams canvassing the ceilings. However, don’t get discouraged if you can’t find gorgeous beams hidden under layers of drywall (I’ve heard this happens, though never to me), use my tutorial to craft your own wooden beams instead.
