Today I’ve got some fast fixes for your kids bedroom. These are some really fun updates that you can do in a half-day {or even less!}. Check out how you can update your kids bedroom–fast!
How fun would it be to digitally reproduce your kid’s favorite toys? Any kid would love this! Take a close-up of your kid’s favorite toys. Then have the picture printed at your local print shop. Once you have the print, spend an hour or two mounting it onto a simple wood box frame, and then hang the finished project on the wall in your kid’s room. See HGTV for a tutorial on how to put this project together.
A ledge bookshelf is a great way to update your kids’ bedrooms fast. It’s a simple project that you can finish in a few hours flat. The bonus to this project is that not only do you free up space previously taken by a free-standing bookshelf, but you also turn the books into wall art. Love it!
A great kids’ room update is to simply use their artwork to beautify the space. One way to do this is to create some easy clip-art rails like these seen at HGTV. It’s an easy DIY project using only a yardstick, oversized clothespins, acrylic paint and some wood screws. This system allows you to change out the display as often as you like!
Personalize your kid’s room with a painted monogram. With some graphite transfer paper, you can transfer the letters {printed in your choice of size & font} to the wall and then use your choice of paint color to paint over the outlines.
